Stephanie A. Cook

Stephanie Cook leads the Tristate regional advancement team for Syracuse University—working from Lubin House—the University’s home base located in the heart of Manhattan. Her team is charged with building relationships with and securing philanthropic support from alumni, parents, and friends to ensure the future of Syracuse University. She serves as the University’s lead fundraiser in the region and coordinates the overall regional advancement strategy with local colleagues as well as those based on campus.

Prior to joining Syracuse University she worked in a similar capacity for Villanova University, where she built the regional advancement program for Villanova in the Tristate and was instrumental in the expansion of the University’s regional advancement efforts in Boston, Chicago, DC, and on the west coast.

She has also served as a major gifts officer for Columbia University and the Wildlife Conservation Society as well as supported the fundraising efforts of the Central Park Conservancy. She is a native of Madison, Wisconsin and holds a BFA from the University of Kentucky in theatre and an MS from Columbia University in fundraising and non-profit management.
