Ruth A. Darling
Ruth A. Darling provides leadership for the Student Success Center, first-year studies and the Office of National Scholarships and Fellowships. Darling also coordinates the university’s academic advising program and campus tutoring/learning assistance programs. She participates in various institutional initiatives that focus on improving the undergraduate experience and student persistence to graduation.
Darling serves as an adjunct assistant professor in the college student personnel program at UT and has presented at national meetings and conferences on student success. She serves as a consultant on various aspects of academic advising in higher education, student success and retention and is a past-president of the National Academic Advising Association.
