Matthew Kinservik

As Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs, Matt provides support and oversight for all phases of faculty life at the University. In order to promote the highest academic standards and inclusive excellence, he advises the Provost on faculty recruitment, promotion, and tenure; assists the colleges in recruitment and mentoring; and oversees the promotion and tenure process. He has also served as Graduate Program Director, English Department Chair, and Associate Dean for the Humanities. He earned his BA and MA at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his PhD at Penn State.

Ashley Morris

Goal driven. Student focused. Highly motivated. They are all buzz works that adequately describe Dr. Ashley Morris’ attributes, but do not convey the fullness of her passions. She is committed to the process of learning. In each of her vocations, she strives to expose others to educational opportunities that meet their needs and help them see the benefit in lifelong learning. Currently, Dr. Morris serves as Dean of Business and Professional Services at Savannah Technical College, where she manages initiatives related to all divisional programs, courses, and instructional services, including community, high school, and college programs, as well as promotion of the College to public and private organizations. She leads a team of faculty and staff toward being transforming practitioners and providing learning experiences that equip students for the workforce and further education. Prior to serving at Savannah Tech, Dr. Morris worked as a Dean of Academic Affairs at Albany Technical College. Tim Love, J.D.

In 2019, Tim Love led Loyola University Chicago’s efforts to restructure its compliance program related to Title IX and other equity/civil rights laws, creating the Office for Equity & Compliance to centralize the program and bring institutional policies into alignment across faculty, student, and staff domains. Previously, Love had held various student affairs roles over 11 years at Loyola, including serving as the associate dean of students, director of student conduct and conflict resolution, and within residence life. With over 15 years of experience working with students in crisis, Love is passionate about issues of equity and social justice and seeks to assist higher education institutions in implementing progressive, responsible practices that ensure the safety of their students and the integrity of their institution. Love holds both a Juris Doctorate and Bachelors of Arts from Loyola University Chicago, and a Master of Science in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Colorado State University. He is also a trained and experienced mediator and circle facilitator, and he has conducted trainings nationally and internationally on topics including restorative justice, student conduct administration, behavioral intervention teams and threat assessment, and mission-driven leadership.

Megan Stevens

Megan Stevens is the Assistant Vice President for Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ, and the Executive Director and Executive Secretary of the Stevens Alumni Association. She and her team of eight direct the alumni engagement and annual giving opportunities for over 54,000 Stevens alumni. Megan is the chief alumni officer for Stevens, and the Executive Director of the Stevens Alumni Association. Prior to Stevens, Megan was the Senior Director of Regional and Affinity Strategy in the office of Development and Alumni Relations at Lehigh University for eight years, where she managed a team of seven that collectively produced all of Lehigh’s region and interest-based programming for its 85,000-strong alumni community. Before her time at Lehigh, Megan was the Assistant Executive Director of Mortar Board, a national honor society for college seniors. Megan has more than 18 years of experience in higher education in student affairs, alumni relations and development, volunteer management, and strategic planning. She has a Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s degree in History, also from The Ohio State University.

Dr. Brad Mahon

As a leader in the continuing education sector, Dr. Brad Mahon has built a career establishing strategic and synergic partnerships with other post-secondary institutions, community organizations, industry, and on campus with other faculties and departments. He is an ambassador for lifelong learning, as reflected in his advocacy for impactful programming that enables professionals who are seeking career enhancement or career change. Brad also enjoys navigating the paradoxical challenges and opportunities of operating an entrepreneurial, revenue-generating unit that exists under the umbrella of a publicly funded school. Brad began his post-secondary career in 1997 at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He naturally transitioned into various administrative positions and ultimately to senior leadership roles at Medicine Hat College and the University of Regina. In January 2017, Brad moved back to Calgary where he is Dean of the Faculty of Continuing Education and Extension at Mount Royal University. When not in committee meetings or studying spreadsheets, he appears nationally and internationally as an award-winning and acclaimed guitarist, adjudicator, clinician, and lecturer. He has three commercial recordings, has appeared as a guest on several other recordings, and also continues to maintain his long-standing affiliation with the Royal Conservatory of Music.

Dr. Jenni Murphy, Ed.D.

Dr. Murphy has over 20 years of professional experience in the areas of training, operations, human resources, project management, marketing, and education. She has had a successful and rewarding career at Sacramento State for the past 19 years and enjoys the opportunity to blend professional and personal activities to give back to her community. Throughout her career she has applied her professional background, personal characteristics, and academic training to build and implement strategies that move organizations forward. She was the recipient of the 2018 American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) Sacramento Chapter’s prestigious Chester A. Newland Academic Excellence Award for her leadership in the education of public administrators, was also one of seven “Women of Influence” honored by Sacramento State for outstanding leadership on campus and in the community, and received the 2019 Edward M. McAleer Jr. Excellence and Innovation Award from the California State University Commission on the Extended University. Dr. Thomas Aubrey

Dr. Thomas E. Rojo Aubrey, DBH-c, MSC, LAMFT, CMHFA, CCTP, CFTP, CFTPI, is the Director of Behavioral Health Sciences and Professor at Glendale Community College (GCC) in Glendale, Arizona. He is also an adjunct professor at Northern Arizona State University (NAU). Dr. Aubrey has a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. He attained his doctorate in behavioral health (integrated behavioral medicine) from Arizona State University (ASU) and is currently working on a second doctorate in cognitive psychology. He is the author of the textbook, The Resilient Learner: Thriving and Succeeding In College, and co-author of the books: Transformative Care: A Trauma-Focused Approach to Caregiving and Unlocking the Code to Human Resiliency: Building Professional Resiliency Against Burnout, Traumatic Stress, and Compassion Fatigue. Cindy Babington

Cindy Babington is a higher education consultant helping institutions create staff development and performance management plans, identify staffing gaps and needs, leverage assessment results for decision-making, and develop programs and policies that best serve students. She has provided professional development workshops on emotional intelligence, change leadership, career discernment, employee coaching, and strategic planning. Cindy provides this expertise from her experience in higher education, where she led and developed large staffs that successfully administered programs in student life, admissions, and financial aid to diverse groups of students. At DePauw University, she served in Cabinet-level positions, including Dean of Students, Vice President for Student Life, Vice President for Admission and Financial Aid, and Chief of Staff and Vice President for Strategic Initiatives. Cindy is a trained facilitator of the EQ-I 2.0, an instrument that assesses emotional intelligence.

Cara Hardin, J.D.

Cara Hardin is an attorney serving as Title IX Deputy Coordinator for Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Cara helps coordinate and monitor Marquette’s compliance with Title IX of the Higher Education Act of 1972 and all associated regulations. She is the lead investigator of formal complaints alleging sexual harassment and the lead investigator and adjudicator of formal complaints alleging sex discrimination and other sexual misconduct filed by Marquette students, faculty, and staff. In addition to her role at Marquette, Cara currently serves as a faculty member and Title IX subject-matter expert for Academic Impressions, a professional development company for higher education institutions. Through Academic Impressions and other contracting opportunities, Cara regularly develops and conducts intensive and hands-on training for public and private higher education professionals throughout the country in the areas of Title IX investigations, adjudications, informal resolutions, and general compliance. On a part-time basis, Cara serves as a mediator within the Title IX informal resolution process for higher education institutions.
