This online training will give you strategies for engaging faculty and staff to help international students build the skills that are essential for their academic success. You will gain ideas for providing targeted co-curricular academic literacy support to help students perform better in the classroom. You will learn how to:

  • Identify barriers to students developing their academic literacy
  • Build courses and services to support student development
  • Engage faculty, staff, and the students themselves in the process
  • Assess the impact of initiatives and learning

Who should attend?

Academic and student support staff charged with improving international student outcomes (both graduate and undergraduate) will learn new ideas on improving academic literacy.
