He has more than 20 years of architectural experience in academic settings, with a focus on planning and user engagement in learning environments. Leading Stantec’s Library and Learning Commons Research and Benchmarking Team, Patrick has been involved in both primary and secondary research on academic libraries, benchmarking best-practice facilities, speaking nationally, and applying innovative approaches to learning commons and libraries of all scales for both 2- and 4-year institutions.
