Nancy Truesdell
Nancy has over thirty-five years of experience in higher education administration. She has spent more than twenty of those years serving Lawrence University in a variety of roles including director of the Career Center and associate dean of students before becoming dean of students and vice president.
Nancy works with senior leadership to ensure a positive living and learning experience for Lawrence students as they make the transition from high school to college, navigate the ups and downs of daily college life, and develop the intellect and skills to successfully move on to life after college. Nancy oversees departments and staff in residential life, campus activities, health and wellness, volunteer and community service, multicultural affairs, international student services, the Warch Campus Center, dining services, and career services. In her years at Lawrence University Nancy co-chaired a two-year task force on campus life, and she was actively involved in design and planning for construction of Lawrence’s largest residence hall as well as the Warch Campus Center, a dynamic and transformative facility that provides a focus for student life and a crossroads for the campus and local community.
