Steve Olson, Sr

As the Graduate School of Education’s senior associate dean, Steve directs many of the school’s operations, including finance, HR, IT, research administration, and facilities. Prior to this role, he served as Stanford’s associate director for budget and policy planning. It was in this role that he was asked to chair a task force that designed and implemented a university space charge. He later co-chaired a committee that evaluated the effectiveness of the space charge program and recommended strategies for space management going forward.
