Marc Camille, Ed.D.
Dr. Marc Camille supervises the offices of undergraduate and graduate admission, financial aid, institutional research, and marketing and communications (creative services, institutional marketing, media relations, and web communications). Prior to his appointment at Loyola in August 2006, Dr. Camille’s twenty-four-year career includes service as dean of Admission and Financial Aid at Xavier University and a variety of admission roles at the University of Miami (FL) and Mount Ida College (MA).
Since his arrival at Loyola, first-year class applications have increased 72%; the acceptance rate has decreased; the yield rate has increased; first-generation, Pell Grant recipient, and student of color enrollments have more than doubled; and Loyola’s financial aid discount rate has remained well below national and competitor benchmarks. Additional accomplishments achieved during Dr. Camille’s tenure include the implementation of an integrated marketing philosophy and organizational structure, including a rebranding initiative and institutional designation change.
Dr. Camille presents annually at conferences such as the American Marketing Association’s Symposium for the Marketing of Higher Education; American Association of Collegiate Registrar and Admissions Officers Strategic Enrollment Management Conference; and numerous others, including NACAC, CASE, and College Board meetings.
Dr. Camille earned his doctorate in higher education management at the University of Pennsylvania.
