Ann Hasse-Kehl
Ann Haase Kehl has been the Program Coordinator for the Women in Science and Engineering Residential Learning Community at UW-Madison since 2001. As an academic staff member affiliated with the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, she has had the privilege to build collaborations between academic units and WISE to support the success of students often underrepresented in STEM fields. She has developed and coordinates the highly successful peer mentor program, including training, curriculum, and the development of mentors as peer leaders for the WISE First Year seminar. She has extensive experience in program development, supervision, training and leadership experience, with an emphasis on assessment and sustainability. Ann has taught courses and promoted high-impact educational practices such as first-year seminars, learning communities, collaborative projects, research, and capstone courses.
Ann serves on the UW-Madison Career Services Council Internships Working Group. She holds an MA in Psychology from Northern Arizona University. She is a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF), National Board for Certified Counselors, as well as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (CICSW), State of Wisconsin.
