Sandra Parsons Vicchio, AIA
Ms. Parsons Vicchio has over 20 years of experience in all phases of architecture, including programming, design, documentation, construction, and interior design. During the past decade, she has focused on the architecture of libraries, museums, and visitor centers, which preserve and provide access to our cultural record and support academic and lifelong learning. She has served as faculty for the Academic Impressions library planning institute in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012. She is currently leading teams for the The National Library for the Study of George Washington at Mount Vernon, renovations to The Enoch Pratt Free Library’s historic central building in Baltimore, and an academic library renovation. She completed three library planning initiatives earlier this year. Sandra has spoken about library and cultural facilities at national meetings for both the American Association of Museums and the American Library Association.
