Jennifer Varney
Jennifer has over fifteen years’ experience in higher education. She has held roles in student advising, academic administration, and as a faculty member. She has written articles on proactive advising, adult learning theories, and distance learning. She has presented at SLOAN, NACADA, and AAC&U. In addition she has also delivered webinars for Academic Impressions and is a contributing author to NACADA’s advising manual. She is a member of AAC&U and NACADA.
She is passionate about helping students be successful in the classroom. She teaches business related courses, where she specializes in working with at-risk students. She has also been a subject matter expert in leadership courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and is currently working on a doctorate degree in organizational leadership.
